Oregano essential oil is an excellent antiseptic. It is especially useful for for underweight people as it increases appetite. It helps the digestive system as it soothes the stomach, the spleen and the liver. It can be helpful to regulate the stomach acidity by reducing the stomach juices as well as by reducing flatulence. It is suitable to calm intestinal spasms. Oregano essential oil is especially useful in bronchitis and asthma as it helps reduce the symptoms. It has expectorant properties and helps fight the cold. Oregano essential oil helps strengthen the immune system and treat fungal infections.
  • To treat asthma, bronchitis or cold add 6-10 drops of essential oil to the ceramic diffuser. Alternatively, add 8-6 drops of essential oil to warm water and relax in the bathtub for at least 10 minutes.
  • To treat flatulence add 6-8 drops of essential oil to warm water and relax in the bathtub for at least 10 minutes.
