Flaxseed oil is edible and can be consumed raw but is not recommended for frying. Flaxseed oil is rich in alpha linolenic acid (ω-3) and linoleic acid (ω-6) and as a source of those essential fatty acids it can increase energy levels of the body and reduce fatigue. It is used to prevent vascular and brain disorders, conditions of the retina, especially in infants and hormonal imbalances that are related to essential fatty acid deficiency. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for the elasticity of the cellular membrane of all the body cells. They protect against abnormal blood clotting and have anti-inflammatory action. Increased ω-3 fatty acid levels in the diet increase the flexibility of red blood cells to pass through the capillaries and blood vessels and reduce clots. Studies show that Flaxseed oil, when administered to animals exposed to toxic chemicals, prevents any abnormalities in their development. It reduces skin sensitivity, roughness and at the same time increases moisture levels and makes it smooth. It has rich antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity and high content of vitamin E and carotenoids.
  • Add it to salads and soups to benefit from its rich antioxidant action.
  • After cleansing massage it onto face and body to deeply moisturize and antioxidant protection.
