The sour or bitter orange, scientifically called Citrus aurantium L. var. amara (CAVA), is widely used in the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for digestive problems and weight loss, as an expectorant and as an antihistamine. Recent research confirms its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anxiolytic action.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an effective treatment for anxiety, fatigue, worry and insomnia. Research shows positive results from its use in both the treatment of depression and the improvement of cognitive function and memory. Its fresh aroma helps the spirit to relax.
Apply on wet skin until foamy, massage for a few minutes and rinse with plenty of water.
