Why we chose it for you:

Almonds are highly nutritious nuts that can amount to 1/8th of a person’s daily required protein intake. Hence, it has the highest levels of protein, together with alpha-tocopherol, comparative to other kinds of nuts.

    Sunflower Seed

Highly nutritious, the sunflower seeds contain a rich composition of B-complex vitamins (B1+B5+B6), fiber, folic acid, copper, unsaturated fatty acids, iron, vitamin E and selenium. Furthermore, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant characteristics add to its benefits.

Rice is a staple food consumed worldwide. The glutamic and aspartic acid present in its amino acid profile have perhaps the highest concentration. It retains antioxidant properties and rich amount of fiber. Phosphorus, calcium, zinc and magnesium are also be present in it. Lastly, it is a great source of Vitamin B3, B2 and B1.

Inulin is a prebiotic, serving as a source of food for the healthy bacteria, called probiotics, which are beneficial for healthful bowels. Research studies reveal that inulin easily traverses from mouth to stomach to small intestines, and finally in the colon, it is duly metabolized by microflora present there. Given it is comparatively difficult to digest inulin, it could prove as a suitable ingestion choice for diabetics. Studies also prove that there is no effect of inulin ingestion on serum glucose level, or increased secretion of insulin or glucagon. Rather, it behaves like a dietary fiber. It amplifies the amount of bifidobacterial situated in the colon, ultimately improving bowel health and facilitating bowel movements.
